These requirements have been set in place by the UK Home Office and not Concordia or our international agents. In order to successfully receive a VISA and be able to work on a UK farm, you must complete the requirements below. Cost before arriving to the UK You must pay your VISA costs You must book and pay for your travel to the UK and back to your home country You will need to bring approximately £150 to cover your living expenses until you receive your first wage Before you receive your VISA, the UK Home Office will do some checks. All of these requirements are set solely by the UK Home Office. If any of the following points are flagged, your VISA may be denied: Criminal Record Check - your criminal record will effect your ability to get a VISA. Past VISA applications - if you have a past VISA application that was defaulted or denied, this will effect your ability to get a VISA. Returning home - you must prove that you returned home from your last placement. This is proved by suppling a copy of your travel tickets. These travel tickets can be supplied to the UK Home Office by you, Concordia, your farm or your agent. If you do not provide a copy of your travel tickets within 10 days of your placement finishing, you will be marked as an absconder within 10 days of your end date. This will affect all future VISA applications. If your VISA is denied or if you cancel, no refund is guaranteed.
