Hosted by our partner in Belgium JAVVA, this volunteer project focuses on a combination of community and manual work. 

                                               

WHAT WILL I BE DOING ON THIS PROJECT? 

You will volunteering at Clerheid School doing farm work and other manual work. 

Volunteers will take care of the animals, prepare fields and fix fences. You will also help construct a dry stone wall and do gardening. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to visit and work in the near-by Wooden Village which hosts hundreds of children every year. Tasks will vary greatly from one day to the next. 

WHERE WILL I BE STAYING?

All volunteers will stay in a small cottage, with a kitchen, a bathroom and two shared bedrooms. You may also sleep in tents or in a wooden hut in the Wooden Village during one weekend. 

WHAT ABOUT LEISURE TIME? 

During your free days, you can explore the local area. You will have the opportunity to visit the nearest town Marche-en-Famenne, which is a 30 minute drive away. 

ARE THERE ANY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS? 

  • You must be 18+ to take part in this project.
