Extrafee: $100 per month for food and accommodation. Fees cover also administrative and general organizational costs.

Types of projects: MTV projects in Japan mostly involve agricultural or environmental work, especially in rural areas. Volunteers usually work in small groups (2-3), half of which usually consists of national volunteers.
Duration: usually 2-3 months, all year round

Requirements: Age 20+; some projects require basic or good knowledge of Japanese
South Korea
Partners: IWO
Types of projects: Volunteers mostly support schools or other educational institutions in various activities, mostly focused on the teaching of English, but also including intercultural learning, arts, sports, games and social activities.
Duration: 3 months, during the summer
Food and accommodation: Provided
Pocket Money: sometimes available
Requirements: Age 20+; interest in working with children and youth
Vietnam
Partner: SJ Vietnam
Types of projects: Working with disadvantaged or disabled children and orphans carrying out educational activities and/or looking after them; environmental work and awareness raising in a National Nature Park; teaching English to children and youth; organizing leisure activities for children in a hospital.
Duration: Minimum stay is 2 months, all year round; dates are flexible.
