EVS Funding
The EVS grant covers the costs of:
- Travel
- Medical insurance
- Food and accommodation
- Training
- Pocket money (the amount varies depending on the project and destination)
Although with an EVS project your financial costs are paid, you will need to invest a lot of time
and energy to apply for an EVS grant. You’ll need to be committed, and really want to do it.
Before deciding to apply, please read more at these websites:
- Connect Youth – more info about becoming an EVS volunteer
- Concordia Blog -stories from our EVS volunteers overseas
The next step is to read the EVS Handbook which explains the whole EVS application
process. Then email Chloe asking for an application pack.
“Going to Germany for EVS opened up a lot of doors for me ad I got to meet lots of new interesting people. I would recommend it to anyone. It was a lot of fun!”
Katie, EVS volunteer in Germany.
