We are proud to be a local delivery provider for the National Citizen Service programme (NCS) with hundreds of young people successfully completing the programme across Sussex in the last 5 years.
The National Citizen Service (NCS) is a life changing experience for 15, 16 and 17 year olds and is available to all young people in England, whether you attend a pupil referral unit or a school or college that is state-funded, special or independent.
NCS is a Government scheme to encourage young people to become more active in their local communities. During a four week programme, including two residential weeks away from home, they build upon their life skills by developing teamwork, communication and independent living skills. Each group designs a social action volunteering project for a charity of their choice to help enhance their local community and make a difference, which further develops their confidence, self-awareness and responsibility.
You can also call the NCS contact centre on 0800 197 8010(Monday to Saturday 9am to 8pm and Sunday 10am to 6pm)
