We are recruiting an NCS Engagement Coordinator
The Engagement Coordinator ensures the successful recruitment of young people onto Concordia’s NCS programme (National Citizen Services) their retention and plays a lead role in the delivery. The post holder will work in close collaboration with colleagues and key partners whilst leading the local engagement of young people through schools, colleges etc.
The successful applicant will have experience of managing young people on residential projects including experience of working directly with 16-17 year olds such as youth work, as well as experience in promoting programmes to young people, dealing with health and safety on ‘residentials’ with young people, delivering training and excellent communication skills. Flexibility to work some evenings and occasional weekends and a full driving licence are also important.
With the expansion of our NCS programme there are good opportunities for the postholder to develop in this role. Concordia is a registered charity whose aim is to provide quality opportunities for volunteering, work experience, education and training. We are a local delivery partner for NCS in West Sussex.
