Young organisation which began organizing International Volunteer Projects (IVPs) in 1998 and now run a programme of two week projects all year round. The emphasis is more on the cultural exchange and experience than the manual work itself. However, through the projects they aim to encourage greater social and environmental awareness and to develop eco-friendly tourism in rural Thailand. A portion of the short-term volunteers’ registration fees also goes towards developing these environmental activities, which are the main focus of the organisation’s work. Greenway expects a lot of active input from volunteers in order to continuously develop their programme.
