The Picnic Panel is Concordia’s new group. The name says all – we eat picnic food and give volunteers past present and future a chance to share views and dreams for the future of our organisation. Join us for the opportunity to meet new people, learn new things and support Concordia to develop new ventures.

Meetings are held monthly on Monday evenings from 6.30 – 8pm

Have you got a taste for volunteering but can’t commit to a 2 week project? Why not join a group of energetic and motivated Concordia volunteers and do something different with your weekend. We have two volunteering weekends planned at The Green Centre in Brighton in June and September. Book a place now before we fill up!

Weekend projects are a opportunity to get a taster of a residential volunteer project, meet new people and have loads of fun!!

What do you need to know?

• Food and accommodation will be provided over the weekend in return for your volunteer work.
• Accommodation will be provided in tents onsite.
• You will need to get to the meeting point on the Friday evening and you will leave on Sunday afternoon. (Details of specific times will be provided on project information sheets.)
• Volunteers on weekend projects come from the UK and overseas.
• You don’t need any special skills to volunteer—just energy, enthusiasm and an open mind!
• The hosting organisation will coordinate the work (so you can be sure that it’s useful and relevant) and a volunteer co-ordinator will work with you and support the group.
• We ask for a £30 contribution from volunteers participating in weekend projects.
• Special Discount: If you bring a friend £50 for 2!!
